evolved instinctive reactions.
"Berries & Cream Dr. Pepper" tastes like it's been spiked with hummingbird vomit. I know there are people out there who like this stuff -- I beg you, leave my demographic and never come back.

I thought it was better than normal Dr. Pepper, which is terrible.

1. Maybe.

2. Hacker genetics dictate that I drink, on average, three cans of Dr. Pepper a month. I hated the stuff until I learned C. Don't understand it. Makes no sense. Still don't really enjoy it. (But it's _much_ better when you freeze it to a slush.)

hacker rule #1: your place must have neon colored soda everywhere you look

Bzz, the proper hacker workstation has a large stack of coke cans with an ocasional dr. pepper added in. Note, this isn't my cubicle, i'm not that entertaining. Also notice the negative keyboard angle, all hail the negative keyboard angle.

Negative angle, and spare hands for when you wear the current set out.

I am dumb and don't know all the 1337 hax0r rules. What is the significance of the negative keyboard angle?

You have a very hard time getting your wrists in neutral position without a negative angle. People who rachet up the back of the keyboard are just asking for a crippling typing injury.

Diet or normal? In the South (up through Maryland) they have the original -- big machines where you full the cup with the Dr. Pepper and have the vanilla and berry add-ins to the side so you can add as much or as little as you want.

I only ever see the Diet in two liter. Yech.

I make coffee in a big Mr. Coffee iced tea maker... a big pitcher of iced coffee is in constant rotation.

Oh, normal, of course. I would sooner have no sweetener at all than drink diet soda. The idea of manually adding the flavorings sounds pretty good -- I like the idea of operating the soda fountain as this careful, alchemistic process.

Iced coffee is too hardcore for me. I'd be constantly jittery and discontent.

New Dr. Pepper Berries & Cream

Submitted by Katie Desobry

During puberty, the other girls were starting to wear Teen Spirit. It didn't make sense. The smell of coconuts should not come out of armpits. This deodorant does not have a real-world application. It does not provide long-lasting protection from odor. When a normal, active teenage girl rubs a very strong fruit scent under her arms and goes about her activities, it is guaranteed that within hours she will begin to stink of rotten fruit. Like moldy strawberries. Like rancid coconut milk. Like assberries.

I could always pick out the girls who wore Teen Spirit Berry Blossom. I can smell them from 10 feet out. Those girls are also big huggers. They would hug me and I would almost fall over from the intense, overly fake smell of the rotting berry blossoms from the assberry vine. I always wanted to push them off and say, "You smell of assberries! Go clean yourself! This is not natural! Berries don't belong in there!"

When I opened up my bottle of Dr. Pepper's new blend of raspberry and vanilla, I was met with the smell of the underarm of a seventh-grade girl straight from gym class. I thought it was impossible to turn that smell into a soft drink, so I tasted it. I haven't ever actually tasted a teenage girl covered in Rotten Assberry Teen Spirit, but this is what I always imagined it would taste like if someone carbonated one and put her in a bottle.

I am sorry to hear it! There's a local place that's got a good selection, Jolt included. But I still don't like it.

I agree... I thought it was horrible. I love regular dr. pepper... they never should have altered that.
